Ghanaians will on November 7, 2016 go to the polls to elect their Parliamentary and Presidential candidate of their choice.

The Electoral Commission has therefore released the full election timetable.

The schedule is below:

* 18th – 27th March 2016 is the date for limited Registration.


* Exhibition is in June 2016.


* Filing of Nominations is from 18th – 19th July 2016.


* Transfer of votes ends in September 2016.


* Election is on 7th November 2016.


* Run off if any will be on 28th November 2016.

The general public is hereby encouraged to take note.
