Chief Executive Officer of Asante Kotoko, Samuel OpokuNti, has said kotoko failed to meet their targets in 2015.

According to him, Kotoko competed in the league with the expectation of defending their title but came second to AshantiGold and again failed to win the MTN FA Cup after losing 2-1 to Medeama SC in a highly fought match at the Essipong Stadium.

“Again we failed to perform in the CAF Champions League as expected.

“We set a target for the team but failed in last year and have sat down to ratify all our mistakes for a better season ahead," he said.

“The board, management and technical team have put things in place for the upcoming season.

“The team have done a professional recruitment for the league season and I feel what has been lost is gone but the good ones are yet to come for the team.

“We want to apiece all Kotoko fans and so we have done a good job for the team,” he added.
