A secret tape making the rounds on social media contains a voice alleged to be that of the acting General Secretary of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), John Boadu stating his readiness to be bribed by the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) just to betray his party.
However, in an interview on PEACE FM morning show, 'Kokrokoo' the National Organiser of the NPP said the purported audio has been spliced.
According to him, the tape has been pieced together because a portion of it is a discussion he had on the ‘Platform’, a political programme on PEACE FM hosted by Nana Yaw Kesse.
“I have never made such remarks. They have just pieced a portion of my analysis on the Platform... This will not distract me. I will continue to do my work. I will not pay attention to such distraction. There is work to be done and there is victory forward” he indicated.

Meanwhile, the NPP has issued a disclaimer on the matter asking the General public especially members of the NPP to treat “this audio with the contempt it deserves and be on the lookout for such frivolous audios as we enter the campaign season for 2016 elections”.
