Award winning Ghana Film maker Shirley Frimpong Manso’s, Sparrow Productions had its first ever the two-day Sparrow Entertainment Festival over the weekend.

The Festival started on Friday January 8 and ended on Saturday January 9, 2016 at the Silverbird Cinemas inside Accra Mall where two new exciting productions by Sparrow Productions; ‘Shampaign’ and ‘Rebecca’ were screened on both days.

Movie lovers had autograph and photo opportunities with their favourite movie star  and also went home with free DVD copies of Shirley’s two new productions.

Sparrow entertainment festival is basically a platform were you get a glimpse of what Sparrow is going to be producing for the rest of the year but also you the get the opportunity to interact with people behind the cameras that you hardly ever see, then of course you get to interact with your stars”, Shirley Frimpong Manso told an Accra based Citi FM prior to the festival.

Some the celebs who graced the star-studded event included the brain behind it all Shirley Frimpong-Manso, Actresses Joselyn Dumas, Yvonne Okoro, Ama K. Abebrese, Nana Akua Addo, Mimi Andani, Adjetey Anang, OC Ukeje and Joseph Benjamin, Fred Amugi, Akorfa Edjeani Asiedu, Ken Attoh, Zynell Zuh and others.
