Kasoa Interchange Workers Embark On Demonstration

Construction workers at the Kasoa interchange site Tuesday embarked on a demonstration against the Brazilian firm, Queiroz Galvao.

Numbering about 200, the workers demanded the dismissal of two of their Brazilian managers and the reinstatement of 12 Ghanaian workers who have been dismissed.
They claimed their colleagues were unfairly dismissed by the two managers; whom they named as Miguel and Fernando.

According to the demonstrating workers their colleagues were sacked for no reason and they feel threatened that any of them could be the next victim.

They insisted until their colleagues were reinstated and the two management workers dismissed, they will not return to work.
