The sudden ambition of some Ghanaian celebrities and players in the showbiz industry to venture into politics is staggering.
Since the beginning of 2015, a rising number of industry bigwigs have publicly declared or confirmed their desires to run for political office.
Actress and Singer Diamond Appiah has posted on her instagram page that she is also a politician.
