Joyce Blessing Picks Bisa Kdei's 'Brother Brother As Her Favourite Song

Many Christians struggle with this question about their favourite secular songs or musicians.

This is not different from the case of Award-winning Gospel artiste, Joyce Blessing as she sung her favourite secular song ‘Brother Brother’ by High Life artiste, Bisa Kdei during an exclusive interview on Vibes in 5.

Though as a gospel artiste in determining whether or not to listen to secular music, there are some factors like the purpose of music, the style of music and the content of the lyrics. Secular songs have catchy melodies, thoughtful insights, and positive messages which entice most gospel music lovers.

Joyce further revealed her desired secular musicians being Abrantie Amakye Dede, Kontihene, Becca and the legendary A B Crenstil. She expressed interest to collaborate with any of these stars when the needs arise.

“My favourite secular musicians i would like to work with are Amakye Dede, Kontihene, Becca and AB Crenstil.”
When asked what keeps her awake at night, the singer made known that there are a lot of things but the only particular one is when she writes songs at night.

She also lamented an embarrassing moment in her gospel career, being her only pair of shoe she had.

“I have been through a lot but I remember in the mid of my career, I had only one shoe which got soaked by water after a heavy downpour making it weak so I managed it because that was the only shoe I had to perform with.

“I was performing in public when I realised that I was going down and getting shorter and all I saw was that my ‘heel’pair of shoes turned into down shoe but I still sung and leaped off stage to my seat quietly, she bemoans.”
