DCE Pledges More Projects In 2016

The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Juaboso in the Western Region, Mr Kingsley Asoa-Apimah, has maintained that the National Democratic Congress administration has a lot to offer the district this year to add to its existing remarkable projects to prove to its critics that the party still has at heart the wellbeing of the people.

Several communities within the Juaboso District, he noted, will benefit so much this year and that projects that were not completed last year would be completed this year.

Speaking in an interview with the DAILY HERITAGE, Mr Asoa-Apimah noted that all required resources are 100 per cent set to facilitate the completion of a six-unit classroom block in communities such as Domebo, Eteso and Yakyem, as well as the construction of a three-unit classroom block at Komeaman.

Authorities of the Juaboso District Assembly, he indicated, are getting ready to build a six-unit classroom block at Nkatiese and also ensure the completion of a similar project at Benchemaa which has been awarded on contract.

Other projects include a three-unit classroom block at Senyagyakrom D/A Junior High School (JHS) and Mafea D/A JHS, the completion of  Dwaboso town park which has been awarded on contract, an ultra- modern market complex at Benchemaa barrier which will be opened to facilitate marketing and generate income for the assembly, a three-unit classroom block for Mantukwa and  a CHPS compound project which is currently ongoing at Sayerano.

The DCE said cement, roofing sheets and nails are yet to be provided to assist communities including Gyapokrom and New Brekum to help construct their school blocks.

Touching on health, the Assembly, he noted, is yet to put up eight mini hospitals in  Eteso, Brekum, Kokrom, Somanya and Antobea among others to facilitate the delivery of health in the district.
The NDC government, he disclosed, is forever poised to add more to lift the image of Juaboso District, stressing that it is through the efforts of the party that Juaboso is currently enjoying electricity and good road networks.

He, therefore, urged all to vote for the NDC come November 7, 2016.
