Dumsor Is Dead' Track Is Not For NDC...I Did It For All Ghanaians - Adangba

The Mahama led administration appears to have started 2016 on the right foot.

After years of being on the receiving end, Michael Adangba a recording artiste believes government is beginning to win back the hearts of Ghanaians following the measures it has put in place to ensure the power crisis is resolved forever.

The musician is out with a new banger titled ‘Dumsor is Dead’. Some say the track is just to sing the praises of the current administration.

But in a one-on-one interview with Peacefmonline.com, the artiste sought to explain that before coming out with the song which is already making headways on social media, he personally visited the Navrongo solar farm, Takoradi Thermal Power Station (TTPS) located at Aboadze and the Tema Thermal Power Complex to see on-going works there.

He strongly believes the current improvement in the energy sector would put a stop to the agitations and demonstrations that were linked to ‘dumsor’.

During Christmas the lights became stable and we were all waiting to see if that would be the case after the season. But we entered into the New Year and we can testify that things have changed for the better.

“We are no longer sleeping in darkness and we must commend President John Mahama for doing what other leaders couldn’t do... that is all the song seeks to do”, he said.
