Aston Villa boss disappointed in Ayews unsporting behavior in teams defeat to West Ham

Aston Villa manager Remi Garde has expressed his disappointment in Ghana attacker Jordan Ayew after the player’s mean-spirited act in the team’s 2-0 defeat to West Ham United on Tuesday.

Ayew received an early shower after he was sent off in the 17thminute for elbowing West Ham defender Aaron Cresswell.

The Ghanaian international without any provocation jostled the player in the face which gave referee Moss no option than to show him a straight red card.

Remi Garde who had relied on the impressive performance of the 24-year-old is disappointed in the player’s awful act towards his opponent.

“Jordan has no excuse to do that. I know that he knows that,” he told the Club’s website.

“He will be suspended now.

“Today it was a big blow for the team.

“The 10 men fought very hard and I have nothing to reproach them about.”

The former Lorient and Olympique Marseille forward will miss his side’s League fixture against Norwich on Saturday.
