Three passengers, including a driver of a Yutong mini bus, are reported to have died instantly after the bus with registration number GN 2388-10 drove into a tipper truck on the Pakyi-Trede road in the Ashanti Region.

An eyewitness from Boss FM in Kumasi, Nana Tabi tells Peacefmonline.com that the head-on collision occurred at 6: 20 pm after the driver of the mini bus made a wrong side overtaking on the road.

The Police according to him were called in to the site to rescue passengers who had sustained serious injuries and were trapped in the bus which was heading towards Obuasi from Kumasi.
