The Ghana international is yet to play his first Premier League match since joining the Foxes from Denmark last month.
Leicester City defender Daniel Amartey may be available for use on Saturday when his side clash with Manchester City in the English Premier League, coach Claudio Ranieri says.
The 21-year-old is chasing his EPL debut after sealing a four-and-half-year move to the King Power Stadium from Danish outfit Copenhagen last month.
He sat out his side’s 2-0 win over Liverpool on Tuesday after he was declared "unready" by Ranieri.
“I want to think a little more, I want to speak with my fitness coach and him [Amartey] and then I’ll decide,” Ranieri told Leicester's official website.
“It’s just [his] fitness. He’s trained every day with us. Everybody is okay.
“It was before the winter break [that Amartey last played]. Now he restarts and slowly, he’s getting better.
“I don’t know if Saturday, he comes with me on the bench or [for the] next match with Arsenal – I don’t know. Tomorrow [Friday], I’ll decide.”
Amartey first moved to Swedish side Djurgadens IF following his days in the Ghanaian topflight, before transferring to Copenhagen.
Saturday's encounter is a top-of-the-table clash, with leaders Leicester three points ahead of second-placed City on the league standings.
