Dzokoto for US Radio Seminar

Kwame Dzokoto, head of programmes at Hello FM in Kumasi has been invited by the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) in the United States to represent the station at the association�s annual radio show in Philadelphia. Scheduled to take place from September 23 to 25, the show is an educational seminar that seeks to raise up discussions on modern trends in radio and modern technology being used in radio. According to Margaret Casilly, Vice President of International Operations of NAB who sent the invitation, topics to be discussed include how radio stations can stand the intense competition and challenges posed by the other media and how innovative ideas and programmes could be though up to move the industry forward to win over more advertisers. �Radio today faces intense difficulty because of its greater numbers hence the urgent need for upgrading, innovation and dynamic new business strategies to push the industry forward through such a seminar,� she said. Kwame Dzokoto is happy for the invitation and the opportunity to represent his station and told Showbiz that, he hopes to learn and bring back a lot of new ideas which he would use to improve his station�s operations. Adding his voice, Fadda Dickson, who is the Finance and Administrative Director of Peace FM and Hello FM said the invitation is an indication that the world has come to accept the new standards that have been set by the two radio stations, Peace and Hello FM.
