"I Sound Like Sean Paul And So What? -Rashid Metal Asks

He sounds so much like Jamaican Ragga and Dancehall artiste, Sean Paul and has been criticised for not being original. But Ghanaian dancehall singer, Rashid Metal has revealed he sees nothing wrong with it because he (Sean Paul) is his mentor and he loves sounding like him. I have always wanted to sing like Sean Paul when I was young because I liked everything about him. I love his style of Ragga. Infact, I like everything about him. I own most of his songs and listened to them all the time so I am not surprised I sound so much like him. And I think I love that he told Showbiz recently. According to Rashid Metal, imitating a mentor who has made a lot of impact with his songs is no big deal because Sean Paul is respected all over the world. The No Noise singer stated that he is looking forward to working with Sean Paul and he knows that day is coming soon. Rashid Metal who came to prominence with No Noise two years ago said, things have been slow with him due to management issues. I have new managers now. I am being managed by Solomon Antwi of STIX Entertainment and I believe things will start to look up soon. Rashid Metal, real name Abdul Rashid Khalid, said he has recorded a lot of songs with musicians like Dobble, Shatta Wale and Episode, adding that Ghanaians should watch out for him.
