Five persons have perished in an accident that occurred this morning at the Fise junction near Sapeiman on The Accra-Nsawam road. According to an eyewitness, a BMW saloon car with registration number GW 5634V, which was on its way from Accra To Nsawam skidded off the road in an attempt to overtake another vehicle, but ended up ramming into some passer-bys at a bus stop, killing about five people on the spot.
The driver of the BMW saloon car who sustained minor injuries has been taken to the Amasaman hospital. Meanwhile the bodies of the victims have been conveyed in a KIA truck to the hospital.
