Tigo has just completed a restructuring exercise to accelerate the growth of the business. As part of the exercise, 65 roles were discontinued and on February 18, 2016, this was communicated to all the affected employees.

The Corporate Communications Director for Tigo, Gifty Bingley said: “The restructuring of our business will allow us to better address the changing needs of the market in Ghana and our intent to drive a more forceful business agenda. It will help us increase efficiency.”

Tigo will now focus on accelerating its business growth plan.
