Black Stars Coach Avram Grant believes Italian coach Antonio Conte possess the qualities to handle English giants Chelsea.
Conte is reported to have agreed a deal with the English giants after the 2016 Euro Championships.
The blues are in hunt for a new coach who could possibly take over from interim trainer Guus Hiddink.
Juventus boss Maximilino Allegri as well as Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone has been shortlisted together with Conte as perfect candidates for the job.
Grant who guided Chelsea to the Champions League finals in 2008 has exalted the qualities of Conte whom he tipped could secure the deal.
“We need to wait to see if it is true. He is a good coach. He did brilliant for Juventus and Italy. He is a very nice guy,” Grant told Sky Sports.
“Conte has a lot of experience but all the others [Diego Simeone and Massimiliano Allegri] that were mentioned have the experience.”
Chelsea are expected to name a new coach at the end of the season.
