Frank Acheampong's Brace sends Anderlecht to Europa League last 16 (VIDEO)

The Ghana international produced perhaps his most magical football moment with two extra-time goals on Thursday.

Frank Acheampong was undoubtedly the hero on the night, scoring twice within eight minutes in extra time to send Anderlecht through to the last 16 of the 2015-16 Uefa Europa League.

The Black Stars winger found the back of the net in the 103rd and 111st minutes as the Purple and White left it late to snatch a 2-1 away victory over Greek side Olympiacos at the Stadio Georgio Karaiskaki on Thursday.

Konstantinos Fortounis had put the home side ahead from the spot - the solitary goal of regulation time - on 29 minutes.

With the score tied on a 1-1 aggregate after normal duration following Anderlecht’s 1-0 home win in the first leg, the game was forced into extra time.

Acheampong, however, wouldn’t miss the opportunity to hog the headlines with a double which eventually saw Anderlecht progress on 3-1 aggregate.

The former King Faisal man’s latest exploits have seen him score five times in five matches, having earlier found the back of the net on three occasions in his last three league appearances.

He had scored twice in a 2-2 stalemate with KV Mechelen on February 5, before opening the scoring in a 3-0 thrashing of Zulte-Waregen a week later.

 According to his agent, the 22-year-old is a hot transfer target for Italian giants Inter Milan and Juventus.
