Doblo Chief Tackles Crooks Warns Investors Over Imposters

The chief of Ayiki Doblo, Nii Doblo Ayikai has cautioned all who wish to buy lands at Ayikai Doblo to ensure that they transact business with the right people and shun dealings with any unauthorized persons.

According to the chief at a packed to capacity press conference last week, some persons who claim to be owners of the land are using very coercive approaches to deceive Ghanaians with regards to Ayikai Doblo lands.

According to the chief, the land in issue is as of now in the extent of 4,419.20 acres and not 22,082 acres, a wrong fact and position being imposed on the general public by Nii Ayikai III, the current Akumajen Mantse.

Nii Doblo noted that it was incorrect to say that the Ayikai Doblo land was within the region of 22,082 acres , since that would mean that it encompasses surrounding villages like Nsakinaa, Obeyie and Oyansana just to mention a few.

He said “ the 4,419.20 acreage as we have always maintained is eloquently captured and same is potently clear on the judgement plan of a judgement delivered by His Lordship Justcie I.O Tanko Amadu as he then was in a case entitled Adjei Kojo Ayikai versus Nii Ayiaki Doblo.”

He said it was important to note that the said judgment still stands since same has not been challenged and overturned.

Nii  Doblo Ayikai said it is important to note once more that, during the pendency of the case, it came to the fore that, the subject (the land) matter of the suit forms part of the total land belonging to the (3) families.

Nii Doblo Ayikai on the issue of the Nii Ayi Kojo Family, said there was no such family in Ayikai Doblo and that it was a fact known to all in Ayikai Doblo that the said Nii Kojo Family is an unknown entity and it is a ploy by all those who were peddling such falsehood to pull the wool in the eyes of innocent members of the general public.

He said the power of Attorney so granted to Nii Amoo Dodoo (aka Azonto) by Nii Ayikai III and his secretary was actuated by fraud.

“The said holder of the power of Attorney hails from Nii Kweifio family which was instrumental in the selection, nomination and installation of me as chief of Ayikai Doblo April 18, 1985.”

Nii Doblo is has cautioned the public that the manufacturing, procuring or donating of such power of attorney to the said Nii Amoo Dodoo is a scheme put up to dupe them, since all official records at the Lands Commission clearly pointed to only one irresistible fact that the said land belonged to the Ayikai Doblo family and not Akumajen stool.

He said Ayikai Doblo lands have been a family land and still stands as such, adding that the power of attorney so granted is a grand plan to victimize the general public.

He therefore cautioned the general public to beware  of these issues and take precautions in acquiring any portion of land at Ayikai Doblo from anyone he has not mandated, adding that any persons who allowed themselves to be duped does so at their own risk.

Meanwhile, as at the time of going to press last night, information was that Nii Amoo Dodoo and his cohorts, smarting under the fear that those they have sold lands to might come after them for refund of their monies have hurriedly organized a press conference to tell Ghanaians and  residents who may go after then anytime soon, conscience-soothing-falsities.

Stay tuned.
