Dawu has been dormant from Ghana Premier League football for almost a decade, but Dreams FC chose the venue which was built by businessman Seth Yeboah as their home ground for premier league matches.

Considering the number of years the stadium haven’t seen competitive league football, the management of Dreams Football Club had to do massive renovation work for the stadium to meet the required standards to host league matches.

The pitch inspection team of the Ghana Football Association visited the venue and gave thumbs up for the venue to host league matches. But management has continued to work hard to ensure the playing surface is of good quality.

Dawu stadium has a capacity of 10,000.
