The Fire Club manager has endured a turbulent start to the new season in charge and has announced his departure on personal reasons.
Ghana Premier League side Aduana Stars have seen their manager Nurudeen Amadu calling it a quit after only two games into the season.
Amadu, formerly with All Stars, joined Aduana ahead of the new campaign but failed to win the inaugural Ghalca G6 tournament and also saw his side losing to Inter Allies and Wa All Stars in their first two league games.
"I will not apportion blames. None of my players or management member was the reason for my decision. I wholeheartedly took the decision. The club has endured a poor start to the season," Amadu told Goal.
"Based on the poor performance exhibited after two games in the league, I deem it right to call it quit to save the club. I wasn't forced to take this decision.
"The results and other personal reasons amounted to the decision. I thank the club, players and the supporters for the opportunity and support they gave me during my tenure as the manager. I wish them the best of luck in the remaining 28 league games and other matches ahead," he added.
Aduana signed a total of 11 players ahead of the new season, including Yahaya Mohammed, Wahid Issahaku, Richard Mpong, and Noah Martey.
Goal understands that the club's top hierarchy are yet to respond to the coach's intention. It's believed that should his decision be accepted, deputy manager Rahman Ameyaw will be appointed on interim basis.
