Former Black Stars captain and Italian Serie A giants, Juventus, Stephen Appiah has been invited by his former club to join a number of the clubs legend to participate in “Luvfans Cup Forever Legends Friendly Match” in China.

The Luvfans Cup Forever Legends Friendly Match is an exhibition match, that will be played between the Juventus legends and a selection of local legends in China.

The match fixed for Friday, March 25, will be under the auspices of Luvfans Network Technology Co. Ltd is aimed encouraging local football fans to develop interest in football and promote it in China.

Information gathered by the GNA Sports indicates that, the organisers will provide supporters with the opportunity to take part in a raffle draw with six lucky winners to be selected to embark on a life time trip to Italy to experience Juventus.

According to the information,supporters can take part by registering on the official online Luvfan Juventus China fan community adding that the Juventus delegation will be hosted by the Vice Mayor of Shanghai Zhao Wen.

It noted that, the decision to settled on Juventus was based on the clubs prestigious reputation and global appeal.

"China is a country that is dear to the hearts of all connected with the club, with the magnificent welcome received for the Italian Super Cup match on 8 August still very much fresh in everyone’s minds. we deem it fit to invite them". The organisers said at a press launch of the event.

Juventus is one of the most successful clubs in Italy with two UEFA Champions League Trophies and series of league cups.

Appiah, earlier this year was declared as the Unity Ambassador by the National Peace Council (NPC) in partnership with Primeval Media.
