Ignore Material Inducement From NDC - Bugri Naabu Tells Ghanaians

Northern regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Daniel Bugri Naabu, has advised Ghanaians against being swayed by material things that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) will use to induce them during the upcoming general elections in November 7.

According to him, at the peak of the elections they will be induced by the NDC with all manner of material things in an attempt to lure them to vote for them during the November polls.

Speaking to supporters of the party in Bawena in the Daboya-Mankarigu constituency of the Northern region, the outspoken northern regional chairman of the NPP urged the people to be mindful of the NDC since they will come with clothing, rice, sugar, salt, Maggi among others in the name of soliciting for their votes.

That, he said, will serve as “your death warrant because after receiving those items, it will serve as a substitute for developmental projects in your communities.”

He said the NDC has adopted a Machiavellian and fickle tactics to swindle Ghanaians to remain in power and continue to inflict unbearable hardships on the masses which Ghanaians must reject.

For her part, deputy Women’s Organiser of the NPP, Hajia Mohammed Sofia, addressing the gathering also admonished residents, especially women, to vote the NDC out since they have collapsed the NHIS, free maternal care policy and other relevant pro-poor policies initiated by the erstwhile Kufuor-led NPP administration to leverage Ghanaians from poverty.

She mentioned among other things the skyrocketing school fees, lack of jobs for graduates and the youth, the collapse of the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS), the collapsing of free maternal care as well as the return of the cash and carry system as clear evidence to “reject the NDC and incompetent John Mahama administration.”
She said the happiness of every parent was to see their wards graduate from school and gainfully employed, saying “but in this NDC administration its completely different and you think we should continue to allow them to cause the mess in this country.”

Chairman for Daboya-Mankarigu Constituency, Yahaya Kasim, said there was every justification to reject the NDC.

He also advised the people to ensure they vote massively for the NPP to transform the broken economy to an economy well positioned to create an enabling environment for businesses to flourish, create employment and ensure a total development of the country.
