Remove That Stan Dogbe Boil From Your Armpit NDC To Mahama

It has become pretty obvious that, the rank and file of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) is no longer prepared to stomach the actions and inactions of a particular presidential staffer-Stanislav Xoese Dogbe, whose behaviour is fast eroding the gains chalked by President Mahama and sending the NDC into opposition.

The NDC party foot-soldiers, are now calling on the President to, with immediate effect, remove the said Presidential Staffer from the Seat of Government, the Flagstaff House, before he [Stan Dogbe] succeeds sending the party into opposition, since they cannot tolerate him any longer, as a result of the collateral damage he continues to cause the party in this crucial election year.

According to one of them, Eugene Kwame Attachie, popularly called, Kwame McCarthy, believes that it is time President John Dramani Mahama, remove Stan Dogbe, who has become a ‘boil’ in his armpit, if he wants to win the November 7 presidential election.

“President John Dramani Mahama is having a ‘boil’ is Stan Dogbe, so the earlier he [Mahama] gets rid of him [Stan] the better it shall be for his Presidency, and most importantly his chances of retaining power”; worried Kwame told The Informer, over the weekend in an exclusive telephone conversation.

According to him, Stan Dogbe’s continuous stay at the Flagstaff House, would affect the electoral fortunes of the President and for that matter the NDC in the November polls, in that, floating voters, very critical in their thoughts, are observing and will not vote for the NDC, although they may not be comfortable with the opposition New Patriotic Party [NPP] – considering that party’s current state of affairs.

“No floating voter worth their salt will vote for President Mahama and the NDC; because of Stan’s arrogant posture that many discerning minds, including NDC party bigwigs, have issues with: Stan Dogbe, with his arrogant behavior is fast sending the NDC into opposition”; he added.

According to Euguene Kwame Attachie, not until President Mahama, sacks Stan Dogbe from the Flagstaff House, he [Mahama] should forget about their support as party foot-soldiers-as they have always done by going to the hinterlands to propagate the message of the party.

Enough is enough! If it’s not Stan exchanging words of war with party bigwigs like Alban Kingsford Sumana Bagbin, then it’s Stan in the news – for destroying a voice-recorder of colleague journalist; apart from the avalanche of misbehaviour towards Chief Executive Officers of institutions and or Ministers of State – having encountered him in one way or the other.

In fact, President Mahama, shouldn’t sacrifice his presidency and for that matter, the NDC, for Stan Dogbe; and therefore, must show him the exit”; troubled Kwame McCarthy further stated.

Recounting how he has been a witness of Stan Dogbe’s arrogance, he said; “At President Mahama’s last rally in the build-up to the 2012 general election at Adidome Primary School Park in the Central Tongu District of the Volta Region, Stan openly, without respect for the elderly, hurled insults at the District Police Command, who was putting in place the necessary security measures, in wait for the landing of the helicopter carrying the President.

Also, at a funeral in the same region [Volta]; whiles people were sitting on benches, Stan was in a stationary Toyota V8 Land Cruiser with the engine and air-condition on, to the anger of those who had assembled at the funeral grounds”

He suggest; “If this misbehavior is not enough to send the NDC into opposition, then what can it be? President Mahama, better sack Stan Dogbe from the Flagstaff House, before he sends the party that some of us toiled to bring to power back to opposition. After all, Stan in his days at Joy FM, did a lot of damage to the NDC, when the party was in opposition”.

Concerned with the public image of the President, Kwame, expressed worry about why Stan Dogbe, should continue to follow President Mahama all over the world, when he [Stan] was allegedly associated with a rape case.

Likening the President to a dove, he said; “As a nice and humble President, it is a mismatch for him to work with someone, whose behavior depicts that of a ‘hawk or eagle’ and has no respect for people.

“I have on behalf of my colleagues [foot-soldiers] served notice, and is that; until President Mahama, sack Stan Dogbe from the Flagstaff House, he should forget about our support in this year’s electioneering campaign”; Kwame concludes.

Brief Facts

Kwame McCarthy is one of the young people who came to the defense of the NDC when the party was in opposition in 2001. He was also, part of the young people who formed the ‘NDC Youth Forum’ at Kuku Hill in 2001 together with Nii Lante Vandepuye, Fiifi Fiavi Kwety, Koku Anyidoho, Haruna Iddrisu and Inusah Fuseini, not forgetting the late, Dzidzor Tay.

During the NDC’s days in opposition, not until after April 2006; Stanislav Xoese Dogbe, then working with Joy FM, did not see anything good about the NDC, and why Ghanaians, should vote for Professor John Evans Atta Mills to become a President.
