Korle Bu Reopens Three Surgical Units Monday

The Korle Bu Teaching Hospital has reopened the three surgical units that were closed down about a month ago.

The units; the Urology, General Surgery and Neurosurgery clinics, were shut down in February for rehabilitation and re-equipping purposes.

A statement signed by the Public Relations Officer of the hospital, Mustapha Salifu said the three units would be reopened on Monday, March 21, 2016.

The statement also acknowledged the co-operation and support of the general public during the closure of the three units.

It said, “The hospital wishes to acknowledge the support and patience of its patients, the general public, the Ministry of Health, sister hospitals in the metropolis and staff of the hospital.”
