Hearts of Oak Players Now Play With Lots of Power - Inter Allies Coach Herbert Addo

Former Accra Hearts of Oak coach Herbert Addo, has admitted that Hearts of Oak's combative nature and style of play against Inter Allies made the difference when his side blew away a 2-goal lead and suffered a 3-2 defeat to Kenichi’s rainbow team.

“The current Hearts of Oak team plays with power and are very strong on the ball.”

According to him, the team built by Kenichi Yatsuhashi is one of the best and plays with experience and a lot of power.

”The boys run 90 minutes with strength,” he said.

“We all started equally but along the line my team lost concentration . . . Hearts have power and Inter Allies have technics. Hearts came out with power and they overshadowed my boys,” He said.

To him they will bounce back in style.

He further stated his Inter Allies team lack experience but commended the boys for their superb performance on the day.

The one-time best coach in the Ghana Premier league admitted Inter Allies need a few experience players to blend with the current squad.

“We need a bit of experience players to control our midfield.

"The first half of the game belonged to Inter Allies as they dominated in all departments of the game, but lack of power and experience caused our defeat.

“Hearts of Oak team looks unfit in the first half but came strongly in the second half. The never say die attitude of Hearts of Oak proved on the day for Kenichi’s side,” he added.

A brace from Ibrahim Musa ensured Hearts won all three maximum points in Tema.

Hearts are yet to lose a game in the Ghana premier league.
