Ghanaians Will Vote Based On Mahamas Records - Yaw Buabeng Asamoah

Spokesperson for Nana Akufo-Addo, the Presidential Candidate of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Lawyer Yaw Buabeng Asamoah says the attempt by the NDC to demonise Nana Addo in the three South Africa Security Experts saga is a wasted effort.

According to the NPP Parliamentary candidate for the Adentan Constituency, the likes of Koku Anyidoho, the Deputy General Secretary of the NDC will try in vain the deliberate machination to cow the minds of Ghanaians with lies that Nana Addo is trying to bomb the country with the three South Africans.

Explaining his assertion on Okay FM’s 'Ade Akye Abia' Morning Show, Lawyer Buabeng Asamoah averred that Ghanaians are not going to the polls in November 7, 2016 to vote on basis of Nana Akufo-Addo’s biography of what some people have portrayed him in public.

He rather reminded the NDC propagandists that Ghanaians are going to vote on the records of President John Mahama as to whether he has fulfilled his promises to Ghanaians; thus, the 2016 election will be based on the living conditions of Ghanaians in comparison with the President’s records.

“Ghanaians will not vote on the basis of Nana Akufo-Addo’s biography; it will be on President Mahama’s records. It has nothing to do with Nana Addo but everything to do with John Mahama’s records,” he indicated.

He recounted that “What some NDC radio stations are doing are more of security risk along the lines of Rwanda than anything that can happen to this country through Nana Akufo-Addo.”

He concluded that the defamation of Akufo-Addo’s character on constant basis by the NDC and some members of his party, the NPP is a manifestation that they are afraid of the orderliness he is bringing into politics; hence, the reason for the numerous attacks on his persona.

Talking about the three South Africans’ legal mandate to do business, Lawyer Buabeng Asamoah said the Delta Security has the mandate to engage the services of private security consultants.

He however wondered why the NDC Deputy General Secretary, Koku Anyidoho can conclude that the three South Africans are mercenaries while investigations of the BNI is ongoing.
