3 SA Ex-Cops: NPP Should Stop Defending The Indefensible

Deputy Minister for Roads and Highways and Member of Parliament for Wassa East, Isaac Adjei Mensah has asked members of the NPP to accept the damage caused by the three ex-policemen from South Africa and seek measures to curb it rather than swearing to defend it.

"This void caused by the NPP is very serious to the extent that it cant be left unsaid, therefore they should find a thoughtful way of dealing with the issue than trying to rubbish every aspect of it, which would be the best approach to curb such an issue," he told Tweneboah Kodua, host of UTV's 'Adekye Nsroma' programme.

Three retired South African Police Officers namely, Major Ahmed Shaik (retd), 54; Warrant Officer Denver Dwahye, 33, and Captain Mlungiseli Jokani, 45 were three days ago arrested by the BNI for residing in Ghana and allegedly engaging in activities that threaten the nations security by training some young persons in the NPP in various security drills, including unarmed combat, weapon handling, VIP protection techniques and rapid response maneuvers.

These victims were arrested at Agona Duakwa in the Central Region precisely at the EL-Capitano Hotel where they had based since their arrival in the country early this month.

He asserted that Ghanaians should walk with free spirit, as they prevent themselves from engaging in any devilish occurrences because protection is from the lord and not from man.

Protection is of the lord therefore let us walk with good intention as we indulge ourselves in peaceful declaration, he told UTV morning show host, Lawyer Tweneboah Kodua

He added that the NDC is not in any way compromising Nana Akufo-Addos security as members of his party claim.
