Two robbers have attacked the Tamale Police Headquarters Barracks Block 1 in the Northern Region. According to our Northern Regional Correspondent, Kwabena Ntow, the robbers attacked two Police Officers, Lance Corporals, James Quist and Anane at their home in the Block 1 of the Police Barracks, snatching an AK-47 rifle in the process. Narrating the incident to Peace News, Kwabena Ntow said, Lance Corporal James Quist, had just returned from a night duty at a bank when he was accosted by one of the two robbers who took away his fully loaded AK-47 rifle from his room. However, it did not end there as the second robber broke into the room of another Lance Corporal, Anane who got stabbed in an attempt to prevent the robber from taking away his belongings. Investigations is still on-going.
