Let�s Preach �Peace� Ahead Of November Polls � Young Cadres Leader

Young Cadres leader, Michael Mwimbe Dery is calling for a peaceful election before, during and after the November 7, polls.

The NDC pressure group leader says politicians must preach “peace” prior to the election to calm down tempers which might emanate from political discuss among politicians and their followers.

“My brothers and sisters, as we are all aware, this year is an election year and its fever is undoubtedly gripping the nation. This exercise requires Peace and tranquility and we cannot afford to exchange the Peace we are enjoying to anything whatsoever.”

“. . I will appeal to every one of us to eschew all manner of violence that will mar the current Peace we are enjoying. It is therefore incumbent upon every one of us to show any politician who beats the war drum the red card,” He said.

In an interview with Peacefmonline.com, Mr Dery however urged the electorates to vote massively for President John Dramani Mahama in the November polls to achieve his dreams for the country.

“Let us be committed to the development of our societies because it is the only home that we have and its overall development hinges on our absolute commitment. Championing this course is not a sole responsibility but the collective effort of all.

“. . It is gratifying to note that phenomenal development is witnessed across the length and breadth of our dear country under the leadership of His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama,” he said
