Mornah Declares Ambition To Unseat Bagbin

The National Chairman of the People’s National Convention (PNC), Bernard Ambataayela Mornah, is lacing his boots to unseat the incumbent Member of Parliament (MP) for Nadowli/Kaleo, Alban Kingsford Sumani Bagbin.

The 58-year-old Majority Leader in Parliament on the ticket of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) will be seeking a seventh bid since entering Parliament in 1992.But Mr Mornah has promised to end his re-election, indicating that his tenure as MP would witness massive infrastructural development for the people of Nadole Kaleo, deploring the neglect of the constituency by successive governments.

“My motivation to vie for Parliament is motivated by a desire to serve. I am optimistic my political legacy puts me in a better light to topple the age- long hold of the National Democratic Congress in the Constituency,” he said.

Mr Mornah also said he was confident the constituency had shown enough enthusiasm about his candidature to grant him that victory over Mr Bagbin.

He described himself as the messiah to rescue the Nadowli-Kaleo Constituency from the shackles of the incumbent MP, who, Mr Mornah claims, has outlived his usefulness in the area.

Ultimate1069.com says it has gathered that Mr Mornah has stepped up his campaign to ensure that the majority leader is unseated.
