Ghana Premier League Players Are For The Future - Avram Grant

Avram Grant has demonstrated clearly that his concentration is not on the premier league players but rather the European-based.

His attitude towards the Ghana premier league has justified how he has neglected the home-based players.

Last week the Black Stars trainer was granted permission by the football association to continue what he calls his monitoring of players in Europe.

Avram Grant seems to regard the premier league players’ surplus to requirement, an indication of not using the few he invited in any of the Black Stars qualifiers recently.

Richard Ofori, Evans Mensah and Samuel Tetteh are the only better home-based players called up by Avram Grant and has not seen any playing time at the national team.

According to him, the Ghana premier is filled with great talents but needs to be groomed for the future for the time been.

The Black Stars coach has said that he wants to build a formidable squad that can rule the continent and the world in the near future.

“I want to build a strong team that can match every team in the world,” he said.

According to him, the Ghana Premier League players are the future of the national team.

“Here what we see in Ghana is the future players and I am sure the league has talents that will be useful for future purposes,” he stressed.

Recent reports in the media suggests that Avram Grant will quite the black stars after the Gabon 2017 AFCON tournament.
