BNI Would've Arrested Me If I Had Given This Prophecy - Owusu Bempah

Founder and Leader of the Glorious Word Power Ministries International, Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah is shocked at what he described as the seriousness the clergy and the security have attached to the terror alert prophesy by Nigerian Prophet, TB Joshua.

According to him, the conduct of the clergy and the police smacks of "hypocrisy and double standards". The founder of the Synagogue Church Of All Nation (SCOAN) on Sunday encouraged prophesied terror attacks on Ghana and Nigeria this month.

He urged his church members to pray for Ghana and Nigeria as he foresaw imminent foreign attacks which added have been planned to take place at public gatherings will happen on a Thursday, Friday or a Saturday in April 2016.

Due to this, the Christian Council of Ghana which mostly is the first to dismiss such alarmist prophesies is questioning the country’s preparedness to deal with any terror attack.

But on Adom News Monday, Rev. Owusu Bempah who has been chastised for giving similar prophesies was certain he would have been in the custody of Bureau of National Investigations (BNI) if he had given this prophesy.

“If I had given this prophecy, the police and the BNI would say I’m causing fear and panic and they will arrest me. I now see the relevance of Luke 4: 24 which says: ‘But I tell you the truth, no prophet is accepted in his own hometown’ he bemoaned.

The controvercial prophet said he is also shocked at the position taken by the Christian Council which champoined the campaign to call his bluff whenever he gave a prophesy.

This notwithstanding, Rev. Owusu Bempah underscored the need for the prophesy by TB Joshua to be taken seriously. He noted that, it will be disastrous if Ghana concentrate on only the three days given adding that, the police must be extra vigilant and proactive so that they are not taken by surprise.

“TB Joshua is not my friend or spiritual father but let’s take the prophesy serious. I said a similar thing on 31st Night so Ghanaians must pray to avert any attack before, during and after the November 7 elections.

On the tussle as to who prophesied first, the controversial prophet indicated that, no Man of God can lay claim to a prophesy.

“God speaks to all of us so it does not make sense if someone says TB Joshua has stolen his prophesy” he stated.

Rev. Owusu Bempah also urged Ghanaians to be vigilant and report any suspicious character to the police for prompt action.
