Modest Ayew credit opponents

Ghana's Black Satellites Captain, Andre Ayew has gone modest, crediting his opponents in the ongoing FIFA U-20 World Cup in Egypt ahead of a crucial Group D game against England on Tuesday. He said the players had tagged every team in the tourney as potential winners and explained that he would adopt the same mind set, when he leads the Satellites against the English at the Ismialia Stadium on Tuesday. He told GNA Sports "the competition has a lot of competitive teams and we are meeting one tomorrow. We understand that every team is a potential winner and against England, it will remain our guiding principle". "They are are at the tournament because they are qualified to be champions and we will go into the game in search of a win and prove our capabilities as Kings of Africa." Ayew believes in the quality and depth in the Ghana team and says the Satellites, will come good in the game they yearn to win to ensure a smooth cruise to the next stage of the competition. Without underestimating any team, the skipper believes the quality of players like Samuel Inkoom and Rabiu Mohammed who he said play first team for credible clubs will come telling. "Players like Inkoom and Rabiu are very experienced and good and I know playing first team football with very good clubs will help our course on Tuesday and beyond." Ghana has never lost at the Group stage of the competition, regarded as the biggest after the World Cup.
