NDC Hasn't Launched Its Official Campaign - Kojo Adu Asare

Presidential Staffer Kojo Adu Asare says the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) has not officially launched its campaign for the November 7 polls.

Speaking on Peace FM's 'kokrokoo', Adu Asare reiterated the NDC's claim that President John Dramani Mahama's "Accounting to the people" tour is not a campaign strategy by the ruling party.

According to him, the President is embarking on the tour to inspect and commission developmental projects undertaken by the government.

He noted that the tour cannot be a campaign strategy because the "NDC as a party, we’ve not launched our campaign yet . .  We have not launched our Presidential candidate and Parliamentary candidates for the 2016 elections yet. It will be difficult for those raising such concerns to say that the President is campaigning. When the time comes, I believe the people will see the real colours of the NDC.”

He added that Ghanaians will be fully aware when the party starts their campaign train because it will be characterized by lots of frenzy and other activities to mark it.
