PPP To Hold 1st Regional Women�s Congress Tomorrow

The Progressive People’s Party (PPP) will hold its first ever Regional Women Congress tomorrow Saturday 23rd April, 2016 at the Coconut Groove Regency Hotel in Accra at 9am.

The 2016 Greater Accra Regional Women Congress will be the first ever held Regional Women Congress since the formation of the Progressive People’s Party in 2012.

According to the Greater Accra Regional Women’s Organiser, Mrs Koiwah Koi-Larbi Ofosuapea aka Ms.K, the Regional Women Congress will bring together progressive minded women to discuss the upcoming 2016 Election and discuss how they can strategically position themselves as women to bring the PPP into government come 7th November 2016.

“The main goal is to discuss, deliberate and decide on pragmatic strategies to implement in order to make PPP the government of the day in 2016. This would bring the PROGRESSIVE CHANGE that every Ghanaian has been crying for – that competent leadership under Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom.”

The Congress will also be used to launch the Operation 200,000 votes minimum in Greater Accra for the PPP.

In attendance in this year’s maiden regional congress will be the Founder of the Progressive People’s Party, Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom and the National Chairman, Dr. Nii Allotey Brew Hammond.

Others will include the representatives of women at constituency level such as the Constituency Women Organizers, Women Elders and Pioneers of the Party in Greater Accra, Female Parliamentary Candidates in Greater Accra, Progressive Market Leaders and Young Women Representatives of the Progressive Youth Movement (PYM) groups.
