Mobile Money Agent Commits Suicide Over Cash

A 42-year-old mobile money agent has committed suicide in Koforidua.

Kofi Nti hanged himself on a mango tree with a nylon rope Monday dawn following confusion over some stolen GHC3000. It is unclear his role in the stolen amount.

The incident occurred at Junction 1, near the Koforidua Polytechnic.

Starr News’ Eastern regional correspondent Kojo Ansah reports that the body of the deceased is still hanging on the mango with Police yet to arrive at the scene.

Mother of the deceased Christina Dankwa who is shocked over the development told Starr News her son was troubled over the stolen money.

He left behind three children.
