Wearing Provocative Dresses To Church Not A Sin...

The founder of the Kristo Asafo church, Apostle Kwadwo Safo has justified why some women wear skimpy and provocative dresses to church. According to him, no woman worth her salt in this modern day will wear clothes which covers her whole body like a slave.

Apostle Kwadwo Safo’s comment is in reaction to the decision by the St John Baptist Catholic Church in Cape Coast to ban what they call provocative dresses in the church by its members.

According to the president of the church, such dresses that expose vital body parts of women tempt some 'weaker members' and even some of the priests. The church has therefore placed pictures of dresses it does not want to see in the church at the front of the church.

But Apostle Kwadwo Safo in an interview with Adom News said though the action by the Catholic Church is a step in the right direction, it may prevent a lot of people from going to church. In his opinion, even the whiteman who colonised us do worse thus "our women cannot be blamed for dressing provocatively to church".

"Even the woman of God who is coming to read the bible has done her makeup very nicely with a very skimpy dress which attracts a lot of people to the church" he added.

Apostle Kwadwo Safo stated unequivocally that wearing what many people deemed provocative dresses to church is not a sin.
