Three To Represent Ghana In Kenya Master Golf Championship

Kanwal Vibbor, Paul Ennin and Nana Bema Tackie qualified to represent Ghana in this year�s Kenya Masters Open Golf Championship scheduled for Nairobi, Kenya on November 2. Vibbor returned a net score of 65 to win the Kenya Airways Invitational Golf Championship which ended at the Achimota Golf Course in Accra on Sunday while Ennin came second with 66 net with Nana Tackie winning the Ladies category with a net score of 71. About 120 golfers took part in the one-day 18-Hole Stable-ford competition which was sponsored by the Airline. Mr Mike Aggrey, Captain of the Achimota Golf Club in an address read for him thanked the company for supporting the Club. He expressed the hope that the company would continue to assist the club in their developmental programmes. Mr Austin Nyawara, Country Manager of Kenya Airways gave the assurance that the company would sponsor the event in the ensuing years.
