Hearts-Kotoko Clash Records Whooping GH�450,000 As Gate Proceeds
Accra Hearts of Oak recorded a whooping GH¢450,000 as gates proceeds in their Ghana Premier League week 10 fixture with Asante Kotoko.
The Rainbow Club raked the said amount following the massive turnouts at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Over 38,000 tickets were printed for the epic game on Monday.
Report had indicated the shortage of match tickets as at 10am Monday morning, hours before kickoff at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The said amount (GH¢450,000) was the money made from the various stands thus VVIP, VIP, Lower VIP, Center line and Popular Stand.
This could however go down to become the highest gate proceeds recorded in the Ghana Premier League.
Accra Hearts of Oak succumbed to yet another defeat at their home grounds after losing 0-1 to their bitter rivals Asante Kotoko..
