Reigning VGMA artiste of the year EL may have had the shock of his life when charged fans booed him off stage by chanting “away away away” at this year’s Ghana Meets Naija event at the Conference centre.

EL who got on stage after Harry Song reportedly had floored Pappy Kojo with his performance, started his performance on a pretty note until he started facing some challenges with his DJ.

His sound started having intermittent breaks and mutes which affected the smooth flow of his performance. While still trying to get his DJ to get back in the groove and get his act together, fans started booing him off by chanting “away away away”. But the reigning artiste of the year, kept his cool and continued with his performance. Eventually, he won the heart of the fans and they started dancing and jamming to his tune.
