Leave Me Alone Vicky Zugah

“Leave me alone,” was how popular actress Vicky Zugah responded to a query about whether she was pregnant or not at the premiere of her new movie titled, Housekeepers, at the Silverbird Cinemas in Accra on Saturday.

The beautiful actress attended the premiere event in a white dress that was hiding a rather protruding tummy that looked like a baby bum.

More attention went to her tummy when one of her male friends and an actor kept touching the tummy in a playful manner while she kept stopping him whenever he attempted to do it.

But she refused to confirm whether or not she was pregnant.

“I don’t know,” she said on Sunday afternoon when she was asked.

Meanwhile Saturday’s premiere of Housekeepers was successful.

The red carpet ceremony was at the Accra Mall and was not only patronised by encouraging numbers of movie goers but also attracted a number of respectable movie stakeholders and corporate Ghana.

Among them were Salma Mumin, Christabel Ekeh, Toosweet Anan, Fred Amugi, Vicky Zugah, Abdul Salam Mumuni and a host of others.

Directed by Pascal Amanfo, Housekeepers features awe-inspiring performances from some of Ghana’s award-winning actors who have not acted together in a movie in a long time.

It is an intriguing story of five detectives who secured jobs in a household as driver, house help, security men and others in order to investigate a crime.

With a mixture of humour, drama, love, suspense and action, this movie takes viewers on a roller-coaster ride and makes them long for more.

Every scene is woven artistically into a fine literary piece which beautifully represents a typical upper class Ghanaian family with realistic issues and challenges and carefully tackles those various challenges.
