Kotoko captain Amos Frimpong heap praise on Coach Michael Osei

Asante Kotoko captain Amos Frimpong has lauded Coach Michael Osei for guiding the Club to a respectable position at the end of the first round in the Ghana Premier League.

Michael Osei who took over from David Duncan as an interim Coach helped the Porcupine Warriors to a third placed finish at the end of the first half of the season.

Kotoko recorded 8 wins, 2 stalemates and 5 defeats in 15 matches.

Amos Frimpong is however impressed with the performance of his trainer so far in the League.

“Yes I think he has done very well for the Club since taking over, We did not start well but we have been able to finish in the third position at the end of the first round which I this is very good,” he told star FM.

“He has a very good relationship with the players and always tries to motivate us all the time.

“He is like a father and a big brother to us. I am really impressed with his performance so far and I hope he continues to help us.”

Osei’s performance has already raised calls for him be maintained as a substantive head coach of the side.
