Why Do All The Prez Candidates Have Doctorate? We'll Soon Get Dr. Akua Donkor! - Pratt

Editor-in-Chief of the Insight newspaper, Kwesi Pratt has congratulated the Flagbearer of the All People's Congress, Hassan Ayariga for his endorsement during the party's national delegates’ congress.

APC held its delegates congress on Monday, June 13.

Reports indicate that majority of the party's delegates who were present at the Accra International Conference Centre, the venue for the Congress, were minors.

Contributing to Peace FM's 'Kokrokoo', Kwesi Pratt welcomed the APC Flagbearer into the Presidential contest in the November polls.

He however lambasted Mr. Ayariga for deflect from the People's National Congress (PNC) because to Mr. Pratt, it is appalling to see people move and form their own parties.

He questioned why they find it difficult to iron out their differences with their mother political parties.

Also commenting on Mr. Ayariga's endorsement as Presidential candidate for the APC, Mr. Pratt further wondered why it appears that almost every Presidential aspirant wants the title of a doctor attached to his credentials or name.

He alluded to President John Dramani Mahama's and the NPP flagbearer's Nana Addo's honorary doctorates that consequentially make the duo bear the title of a doctor.

He asked whether that should become the yardstick for a person to contest the Presidential slot.

“Now, we have Dr. Akufo-Addo. We have Dr. Mahama. We have Dr. Lartey. We will also get Dr. Akua Donkor.”
