Richard Kingson wants Sulley Muntari back in Black Stars team

Former Ghana goalkeeper Richard Kingson is calling on the technical handlers of the Black Stars to recall Sulley Muntari back to the National team.

Muntari has been serving an indefinite suspension from the Black Stars team in the last two years after showing gross misconduct during the team’s campaign at the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.

The Saudi-based midfielder recently rendered his apology by writing a letter to the Ghana Football Association to show remorse.

Kingston who featured together with Muntari at the 2006 and 2010 FIFA World Cup is calling on Avram Grant and his team to invite the former AC Milan midfielder back to the National team.

“He should be re-called. He has writing a letter showing remorse so Ghanaians must forgive him,” he spoke to Kasapa FM.

“I think we still need him in the team, we need an experience player like him. So I will plead for the technical handlers to invite him back to the Black Stars.

The Ghana Football Association are yet to take a decision on the letter from the former Inter-Milan and Sunderland midfielder.
