Crocked Ghana forward Majeed Waris wants quick return to Black Stars team

Ghana striker Abdul Majeed Waris wants to make a quick return to the Black Stars team.

Waris missed Ghana’s second leg Cup of Nations ties against Mozambique and Mauritius after sustaining an injury.

The 24-year-old also missed the final four games at Lorient before the end of the French Ligue 1 last season.

The former BK Hacken forward is itching to make a quick return to the Black Stars team.

“I want to recover from injury quickly and return to the Black Stars team,” he told Starr Fm’s Dennis Mirpuri.

“I have not played for sometime due to the injury I had so I am praying to return soon and help my National team.

The striker could be available for Ghana’s final Cup of Nations qualifier against Rwanda.

The former Dynamo Moscow attacker was impressive last season after scoring 11 League goals for Lorient.

He is currently in the country after an impressive first season with the French Club.
