Editor-in-Chief of the Insight newspaper, Kwesi Pratt has expressed his resentments over the tags given him by the opposition New Patriotic Party.

Speaking on Peace FM's 'kokrokoo', Kwesi Pratt was bitter that the party cannot appreciate his apparent balanced submissions on national issues, particularly when it's an NPP issue aboard for discussion.

According to him, the NPP cannot tolerate his opinions and so tags him with NDC.

Judging from his experiences with the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the New Patriotic Party, Mr. Pratt concluded that the NDC is much more tolerable on issue-based arguments than the NPP.

“Sometimes, I criticize NDC severely [severely]. They have never called me an NPP man," he stated.

Kwesi Pratt had attacked the ideologies of the NPP Flagbearer Nana Addo, claiming that his idea of a "1-district 1-factory" is not feasible.

Nana Addo during a 5-day tour of Ajumako/Enyan/Essiam, Mfantseman and Abura/Asebu/Kwamankese constituencies in the Central Region promised to establish a factory in every district in the country.

“The only way to free ourselves from the shackles of poverty is by fixing our monetary system. If we are to do this, our monetary system must be stable and strong. This is the only way we can empower Ghanaians. We want to help the private sector to flourish, and we will help establish factories in every district to help create jobs for the people,” he stated.

Also commenting on the issue was Nana Boakye on 'kokrokoo', an NPP Communicator, who further revealed that Nana Addo will set up a Fufu Processing Factory aimed at creating jobs for the people of Ghana.

But Mr. Pratt laughed continuously on the show in doubt of Nana Addo's manifesto to Ghanaians.

To him, "it isn't feasible" for Nana Addo's "1-district 1-factory” especially the Fufu Processing Factory to come to light.

Nana Boakye insisted that Mr. Pratt is doing the bidding of the ruling party, adding that his support for the party has clouded his sense of judgment.

In response, Mr. Pratt stated categorically that he will not tolerate any "misbehavior" and was therefore alarmed that he is always a target for the NPP when he shares his opinions.

“If I say that a project has to be backed by feasibility, is that an NDC position? How can you just come here and make statements anyhow and just walk away? And then you call me unprincipled? And you say I’m unprincipled because I’m supporting NDC?” he questioned.
