Andre Ayew officially receive Awards as SWAG personality and footballer of the year
Ghana ace Andre Ayew officially received his awards as the SWAG personality and footballer of the year.
The Swansea City star received his plaques during a special presentation at the MTN headquarters in Accra on Wednesday.
The 26-year-old won both awards at the 41st MTN SWAG awards night at the State Banquet Hall earlier this month.
Ayew beat off competition from Black Stars teammate Asamoah Gyan and Harisson Afful to win the footballer of the year award.
The former Olympique Marseille talisman clinched the Sports personality of the year accolade at the expense of Black Queens Coach Yusif Basigi.
The Black Stars deputy skipper who was away during the award ceremony at the State Banquet Hall took the opportunity to thank SWAG, organizers of the event.
