Black Starlets to face Burkina Faso after Liberia withdraw from U-17 qualifiers

Ghana’s Black Starlets have progressed to the next round of the Africa U17 Championship qualifiers after their opponent Liberia withdrew from the competition.

The Black Starlets had a walkover after their West African counterparts (Liberia) pulled out of the competition.

Coach Paa Kwesi Fabin’s side has been camping at the Ghanaman Soccer Center of Excellence ahead of the game.

Ghana will now face Burkina Faso and the second round of the qualifiers.

The former World Champions will host their counterparts in Ghana on August 5 before travelling to Ougadougou two-weeks later.
