Hearts Secure Lone Goal win Over Dreams FC

Accra Hearts of Oak recorded a lone goal victory over Dreams FC in the 16th week league game at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Hearts, who has had a poor home record in the Ghana Premier League (GPL) in recent times, played without their Japanese American coach Kenichi Yastuhashi, as his role was taken coach Yaw Preko, managed to score in the second half of the game through Cosmos Dauda.

Kenichi and Hearts of Oak parted ways on mutual grounds paving for the appointment of a Portuguese coach Sergio Tarquil.

It was a free kick executed by Samudeen Ibrahim, which caused a melee in the vital area of Dreams, after Philemon McCarthy failed to make a first grab of the ball and this Dauda capitalised on to slot in the first and only goal of the match in the 64th minutes.

This was after the home team had struggled to overcome the premier league debutants in the first half with former Hearts goalie standing between them and victory.
